GVPN–Corporate puts fixed and mobile handsets under a single numbering plan to allow easy, cost-effective dialing of mobile handsets. With GVPN–Corporate mobile handsets become extensions of the main office telephone system. Internal calls can then be made to any mobile extension just as they would be to a fixed extension, wherever the mobile user is located.
GVPN–Corporate is a part of the Virtual Mobile Exchange family of solutions designed for corporations. GVPN–Corporate combines several powerful components to provide organizations the ability to form groups of subscribers within a Virtual PBX environment. GVPN–Corporate allows this Virtual PBX environment in the mobile operator’s network to be linked to the office PBX. These two environments are meshed to act as one interconnected and integrated virtual PBX system.
GVPN–Corporate allows for a virtual link from the corporation’s Virtual PBX in the wireless network to the corporate PBX. Because calls bypass the PSTN the corporate customer saves money on calls to their company mobile handsets. An integrated enterprise wide dial plan, ease of dialing especially to the field staff, and seamless connections—with call screening, enhanced call control and a powerful self-provisioning system—make this an attractive package for medium and large corporations. This solution also includes many other attractive features including the capacity to differentiate between business and private calls and the ability to offer corporations special tariffs for calls made in predetermined zones mapped to the mobile operator’s RF coverage. GVPN—Corporate increases the number of high revenue business customers from existing corporate accounts and attracts new business. Operators typically increase the penetration within an account from 50% to 90% with attractive on-net pricing and convenience of a Private Numbering Plan with extension dialing. Operators will also gain new corporate accounts based on the value of the service and receive the call revenue from these high usage customers.
