Multi-Line (mLIN) is an exceptionally useful subset of our Virtual Mobile Exchange suite of solutions. mLIN gives mobile customers the ability to use two or more mobile numbers from a standard, single-SIM handset without the need to change or switch SIM cards, or turn the mobile handset on or off.

Using mLIN, a standard single-SIM handset is represented as more than one mobile number providing customers flexibility, efficiency, and convenience. The customer can be called on any of the numbers and be reached on this single registered handset. The customer can use these multiple numbers to separate business and private calls, or to have both postpay and prepay lines on the same handset. Furthermore, mLIN works wherever the customer is using their handset even while roaming. What's more, mLIN supports both voice and data services.

In markets with Mobile Number Portability, mLIN allows the mobile operator to encourage subscribers with multiple competitor's lines to port them on one single mLIN subscription. And just as customers will see great advantages to this mLIN service, operators benefit from larger revenues based on increased mobile call originations and terminations. This is the result of customers using their phones more often. Operators will also see higher ARPU from fixed monthly service fees. And mLIN allows operators to add mobile numbers easily without additional expenses in mobile phone subsidies or SIM card costs normally associated with adding new lines.
